Why inspect and test?

Legislation requires that electrical installations are maintained in a safe condition and therefore must be periodically tested to meet BS7671 standards (Electricity at Work Regulations 1989) and Health and Safety legislation by trained technicians i.e. members of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA).
